The Dutch Porcelain Painting Association (in
Dutch: Het Porselein Schilder Genootschap or PSG) is an active
association with 400+ Dutch and foreign members. The association
publishes a monthly newsletter (in Dutch) with all kind of information
about porcelain painting and related subjects as: a complete tutorial
example of a painted object, painting techniques, materials, a
museum- and exhibitionscalender etc. For questions about porcelain
painting members can call the PSG service-telephone.
Every year the association organizes a ‘Do-day’,
a ‘Year-day’ and museumvisits. During the ‘Do-days’
skilled porcelain painters teach our members in certain
subjects.
The theme of a ‘Do-day’is always different
and can be a new technique or special theme. |

members will be shown at this exhibition. Members can also participate
in a competition. Members who participate in the competition will
receive a report from the judges about the quality of their painted
object. The winners will receive a prize which relates to porcelain
painting.
In 2003 the PSG had a special 'Year-day'. The association reached
the age of 15 years and organized a big convention on april 26th
and 27th.
The annual membership runs from january till december and costs
EUR 32 (Europe, standard) and is EUR 36 (rest of the world, standard).
If you join during the year please consult our membership secretary
